Get What You REALLY Wanted for Christmas Sale The holidays are finally over—and we hope that yours were wonderful and spent with family and friends—now you can finally concentrate on YOU!! All year long you cook and clean and do laundry and drive back and forth –especially during the holidays! Reward yourself with a new Janome sewing machine or serger. Right now you can save $$ on the units that we have left from 2008 because on January 1st, 2009 all the prices will go up! Janome has held their prices for quite some time but as so many other companies have found, Janome has needed to increase the price of their products to offset the rising manufacturing costs. NEW 2009 Sewing /Quilting Classes Be sure to go to our Classes page to see all of the new things we’ve got schedule for you! First of all—make it a date to come to Stitches Etc Home Center on Saturday January 17th at 2 pm for our “We Love To Quilt” Party! Everybody is sooo busy during the holidays that we don’t get a chance to share our latest and greatest stitching projects with each other—this is a perfect time for to bring something(s) to show and share—and we’ll demo the new 4 patch and 9 patch Cross Cut rulers by Jodi Barrows and show you just how helpful they can be when working on a project like our Confetti Quilt! Read all about it in our Classes section. We’ll be doing lots of Holiday projects throughout the year so we’ll be calling it Christmas Club! Our first project is the Folded Fabric ornament (class # 7). We’ll be re-instating our Block of the Month classes, too—but this year we’re making an extra effort to invite everyone—experienced and “reluctant” newbie quilters alike! With our OSS (one size strip) blocks it’ll be lots of fun and the way we have it designed, this years BOM quilt will be QUILTED, BOUND, and FINISHED come December! We have lots of machine classes scheduled for our very special Stitches Etc Preferred Customers who’ve purchased machines from us –including our new Sewing Notions Clutch (class #5) that I worked hard to design as a good review for your machine skills –including clean finishing, buttonhole, blind hem, top stitching, zipper insertion and more! Be sure to come back to our web page often in the next week or so—I’ll be including lots more information! |
